How I set up the Barrett 4050 SDR to the SCS DR-7400 Modem

Swipe the screen from the left side and choose "Audio" in the menu

Testing was done using:

125 watt power level, without Audio transformers or Ferrites cores in or on the cables.

Antenna was a Fan dipole at 26 ft high and less than 30 ft away from the transceiver

It produced a clean signal and performed as advertised.

Expected radio power output up to approx. 120 watts for Amateur bands

Depending on your licence for Commercial in Canada, the power output is calculate in ERP

Making up your Pactor cable using a 8 pin & 13 pin with 5' fly leads from your SCS Dealer

8020 - Audio cable, SCS 8pin DIN to raw cable end, 5'

8070 - TRX cable, SCS 13pin DIN to raw cable end, 5'

I would suggest using heat shrink on the soldered connections and unused wires.

(for strength and short protection)
